“We have just completed a major renovation and it has been the most unexpectedly joyful and rewarding experience we could ever have imagined!
The old bathroom and family room at the back of the house were demolished and the space extended to create a north and eastern facing open plan living-kitchen-dining area, and a new bathroom and laundry.
We selected Ivan Schmocker constructions – wow! Ivan and his carpenters Michael and Daniel are highly skilled builders. They were a joy to have on site, polite, considerate, very hard working and capable. Ivan is an impressive project manager, coordinating multiple trades on site with a network of equally skilled and capable subcontractors.
A defining feature of the project is that it was a safe and happy worksite for everyone, including us who lived on-site throughout the process! I think it’s fair to say we were all apprehensive about how this would work, but it has been an unexpected joy!
The quality, attention to detail and finish is second to none and the result is superb. Despite three weeks lost to bad weather it was completed ahead of time and on budget.”
